Wisdom’s Children (Luke 7:18-35)

Many will miss out on Jesus. Rejection of God early leads to rejection of Jesus later. Those who had rejected John the Baptist also rejected Jesus. They were unresponsive. They were critical of John for his narrowness, and of Jesus for his wideness. But there were a few who responded, in baptism, and in faith. A few were not offended, but believed, and were thus blessed. They were, and are, wisdom’s children
